Introduction to Mochi
Prepare your senses for an extraordinary journey with Mochi, an expertly crafted hybrid born from the illustrious Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies and the indulgent Sunset Sherbet. This evenly balanced strain excels in both flavour and effect, offering a sweet and fruity berry taste followed by a tangy minty exhale that lingers delightfully. As the nugs are broken apart, the aroma reveals sharp mint notes, sour fruit undertones, and a creamy, nutty essence that combines into an enticing olfactory experience.
Concentration and Potency
Mochi doesn’t shy away from potency. With THC levels ranging from a substantial 21% to an impressive 29%, it promises a profound and multifaceted high. The onset is characterised by a burst of euphoria, followed by a surge of creativity. This initial uplift quickly transitions into a deeply soothing and sedative effect, gradually enveloping your entire body in a state of relaxation and sleepiness.
Medicinal Effects of Mochi
The therapeutic benefits of Mochi are as rich as its flavour profile. Its relaxing and sedative effects make it an excellent choice for those grappling with depression, chronic pain, insomnia, and fatigue. Additionally, its capacity to ease stress and anxiety adds to its reputation as a potent medicinal strain.
Potential Negative Effects of Mochi
As with any potent strain, there are a few potential downsides. Some users might experience dry mouth, dry eyes, or occasional dizziness. Moderation is key to avoiding these effects while enjoying Mochi’s many benefits.
Terpene Profile of Mochi
Mochi’s terpene profile contributes significantly to its unique character. The prominent terpenes include limonene, which imparts its fruity and citrusy notes, and myrcene, which adds to the strain’s relaxing qualities. This blend of terpenes ensures that each session with Mochi is both flavourful and fulfilling.
Summary of Mochi
Mochi stands out as a hybrid that marries exceptional taste with a deeply relaxing high. Its balanced profile and potent effects make it a noteworthy choice for those seeking relief from stress, pain, or insomnia, while its delightful flavour and aroma make it a treat for the senses.

Nose: The nose was a bit lighter compared to the others in this round. Like the visuals it was more dark and dank in the nose with some musky woodsy smells coming from it.
Stickiness/Moisture: The moisture level was good, and it was not sticky.
Taste: There was much more to it in the flavour. It still had the woodiness to it but it was more spicy than the nose.
Burn: The burn was good. The ash was a tiny bit salt and peppery, but it gave off some heavy smoke.
Potency/Effects: There was a little bit of a punch to it and it took a bit to build up. When it did it was a good potency level for me. It was quite buzzy with a mellow vibe in my body and a bit of pep in my head. It would be good for day and evening.
Overall score – 4/5
